2024 Senior Grad Season

The 2024 Grad Season has officially come to a close and I am so grateful to all the college graduates who put their trust in me to take photographs that they can cherish and remember when they look back at their “good, old days”.

I had the opportunity to shoot at 3 different universities, have 19 sessions, and shoot 39 graduates total this spring and its crazy to look back at all the work I was able to accomplish. I believe I was able to grow my photography skills, learn more on how to manage sessions, and build more connections this season which I’m very thankful for.

One of my favorite parts of capturing graduation photographs is the memories it holds for every individual. Every student has a special place in their heart for their campus, friends, and family they created while attending college. People have made so many unforgettable memories and gained so many experiences on and off campus that they could remember forever. Whether that is forgetting or running late to their first lecture, walking to and from class on rainy days and getting soaking wet, grabbing late bites at nights, bar hopping with friends on the weekends, participating in school organizations and events, and taking the courage to be involved and befriend others who they’re surrounded with. All the memories they made are important to who they are and who they may become post grad.

I feel like it’s really important to capture senior graduation photos because of what memories like these can hold for a student. College is a big chapter in people’s lives and getting to dress up, celebrate, and go around taking pictures at the important places on campus can be memorable and help people cherish everything they’ve experience. When I graduated college, I got my own graduation photographs taken and am so happy I got them done. I look at them from time to time and get to reminisce on what I got to do in college and how college has effected me post grad with my career and friendships.

I hope people are able to take my words and photographs to heart and plan to book graduation sessions for themselves because these photographs can be with you for a long time and let you relive all the good memories that you’re going to miss and cherish.

I can’t wait to photograph graduates for the 2025 graduation season and help those students celebrate all their accomplishments and life milestones!
